New Year's Eve..

Hello everyone. Today is the 1st of January 2013, the first day of the year!! Hallelujah for that..

Last night was the new year's eve and we gathered to celebrate with some close families. Here are few of the pics that I managed to take during eve.

This is my last afternoon tea for 2012. Gotta love the vanilla oreo almond and hazelnut ice cream cake accompanied by a red velvet cup cake with a wonderful butterscotch sauce as frosting. One word to describe this, PERFECT!

Last Monday of 2012..

A lot of people do not favor Mondays. I do not really understand why. I know that they hate it because its the first day of the week which marks the end of our favorite weekend, which also means that everybody starts working again on that day. I heard lots of jokes and names for Mondays like blue Monday, Lazy Monday and some others that I or you may not be familiar with.

Well for today, its the 31st of December 2012 and ironically a Monday according to the Gregorian Calendar and its actually the last day, and the last Monday of the year 2012!! How ironic is that. Even though its a Monday, everybody has to love it since its the new year's eve. I mean, who doesn't? Unless you are really in love with the year 2012 that its hard for you to let it go..LoL!!

Anyway, I see a lot of my Facebook friends are updating and talking about the last day of this year on their status update. Most of us even publicize their own new year's resolution. Well of course I myself have my own resolutions and that will be in my next blog entry..yeay! Get ready for that.

So what do you normally do to celebrate a new year's eve? Do you celebrate it with friends and family? Do you go clubbing? Do you just sit at home and watch your favorite movie marathon? or do you just go to bed early and only wish yourself a happy new year the day after when you wake up (which is most likely to happen if you are a loner, but its okay..there is nothing wrong in that)..?

For me, new year's eve is all about celebrating it with my very own family. We would normally have a barbecue session (most of the time) for dinner and have a fellowship and catching up with each other since most of us are not living together anymore due to work and stuff. I think other families do that as well around my country. So during the day, we would be busy preparing for the barbecue later at night. Its a very fun and perfect way of spending time while waiting for the new year to arrive.   

Well peeps, now I have to stop here. I need to think of my new year's resolution and how to write it down nicely later for you to read it. I promise to keep it as interesting as possible so that you awesome readers wont be put to sleep..mihihihihi... alright then, gotta go..

Fund Raising for our Mission to The Phillipines in January 2013

Last 2 weeks ago I was supposed to update and share this immediately but looks like I was too busy and I figured that I am so free today and decided to do it now.

So what happened was there was an event going on in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia from the 10th to the 13th of December recently. Particularly happened in Gaya Street in conjunction with Christmas celebration. A lot of caroling and people opening stalls around this area including me and my team!! It was super amazing to see that a lot of people from all walks of life showed up during this event. Some of them even stopped by our stall and kindly bought our items..yeay!!!

This was only the first day..The next three days were packed with people!!

Owh, I forgot to mention that our stall's main purpose is as mentioned above, is for fund raising for our mission in the Phillipines in January next year. So the profit will be used for that and it is surprisingly helping us a lot in our budget, praise the Lord for that! Yeah, the gingerbread cookies are from the same link above..huhu..and you can also order cakes for different occasions. Surprisingly I missed those 4 days of selling. Its different than other past experiences when I run a temporary stall with other groups or family. This was super fun. Plus our neighboring stalls were friendly people and friends. All of us were practically singing a number of Christmas carols together and this attracted a lot of customers to our stalls. I would even describe it as fun, fun, fun, fun...even if its not Friday yet.. *winks ;)

During our busy times running our stall, we still manage to join our church's Sacred Heart Young Adult Prayer Group ministry's open caroling at the same venue..Check out the photos below y'all!!

It was indeed a very pleasant and great experience for me. A lot of people stopped and watched us sing and show their support. Even though there are fireworks fired during our singing, most of our spectators stayed and sang along with us. I was really hyped and happy to see their support towards us that I smiled until my jaw muscle hurts..LoL.. 

So peeps if you did not make it to Gaya Street Kota Kinabalu this year, there is always next year and everyone will surely be there for the celebration. The more the merrier!!

Blessed Christmas Loves!!!

Its Christmas!!!!

Yeay!! Everybody loves Christmas..hohoho..well for me Christmas this year is very much different from the rest of the years previously.. I was always excited and eager plus anxious about this awesome celebration. All along Christmas was all about presents, Santa, dresses, Christmas tree, new shoes, Christmas cookies, good comfort food, family gatherings (of course), snow flakes, drinks, friends, caroling and many many other things that always makes me super excited, especially when giving out presents and surprises to family and friends.

This was how my Christmas all along the 22+ years of my life. So what about you? What is the first thing that comes into mind when Christmas is mentioned? Do you know what is the real meaning of Christmas celebration? Have you ever thought of why we have such a joyful celebration that is celebrated world-widely every December on a particular date?

Well friends, for me it is totally not wrong to think of Christmas that way, however this year is indeed a lucky year for me. At the 23rd year of my life I finally understood the real meaning of Christmas and why we should celebrate like mad..

Everybody knows its the birth date of our Savior Jesus Christ, the only son of our God. Well I know that very well too because that's what they taught you in Sunday Schools. Its true, but do you really understood the meaning of His birth? Why do we have to celebrate His birth? We celebrate our birth anniversary, but not as grand as His..So why is it that we do? This is what I have learned in this year's Christmas and I am so thankful for that.

Jesus's birth to our world is not just a normal birth. He came to the world in flesh in order to save us, humans who have sinned so much. But our father loves us that he decided to send Jesus (its Him whom He called His only Son), to redeem and die for our sake in order to wash away all our sins. So welcoming Him to our world by celebrating it is a must, to show our utmost gratitude to our Father for what He has done for us.
I never really think of it that way. I don't really get the whole story until this Christmas. Its all thank to my church ministry that I joined in in October recently. Its a great experience. I really wanted to join a ministry ever since, but because of my constant moving around places for studies and work, its almost impossible.

This year is more meaningful than the rest for me because of this. I was really feeling the joy of His birth. I really hope that next year would be the same. That I will be reminded of the reason of His birth.

I wanna take this opportunity to wish all of you a Blessed Christmas and a Happy New Year!! Looks like the rumor about the end of the world is another hoax!Well, only the Father knows when..no body else will know, so lets just wait for Jesus second coming and just be ready for Him..

5 Most Awkward Moments in My Life.. ;P

Okay, yada yada..Here comes the next list. It is super funny for me, coz I experienced it all the time..But I really hope you guys can use the power of your imagination..wooooo....@.@ Laugh with me, have a nice day! ^o^

1) That awkward moment when you are so concentrating on your computer's screen, that when you try to reach for your mouse to scroll down whatever it is you are looking at. Then you thought you have the mouse in your grip already and started to move the mouse around expecting your courser to move accordingly. But its not moving at all..then you noticed you are actually holding your hand phone that you have placed nearby the mouse earlier..hahahhaa...how awkward is that! ;p It often happened to me..I feel so like a blond..==''

2) This second moment is what I mentioned earlier in my previous note. I am shy around new people..huhu..So, its kinda awkward when I am left alone with the other stranger. I hate to force myself to start a conversation..hahahhaa..I'm the type who will wait for the other person to ask questions or make a remark first. Then only I will comment..It takes at least 1 week for me to open up to a new person in my world..ngehngeh..sorry peeps..=P

3) The next one is quite similar with the 2nd one. However, this one is when out of nowhere, when I suddenly, accidentally meet up with an old friend that I was not really close with..We'll be like so excited at first like screaming and shouting 'How are you??!!' or 'How's life??!!' then a BIG hug..Then after that we'll be like, okay, gtg, see yah!! wahahahahaa...XD so much for the screamings and huggings (owh sometimes, fake smiles)...wahahahaa...^^ Sorry again..

4) The fourth one would be when I don't get your jokes or what you are trying to say..and I also strongly think its similar when the situation is the other way round.LOL..XD Some people even spoke Chinese to me!! How awkward is THAT!!==''''

5) When you are doing something like studying or watching drama in the middle of the night while your room mate or friend is sleeping nearby, then suddenly, the sleeping friend started mumbling a few words that you don't get it. You thought she/he is talking to you, but actually, that friend is only sleep-talking..and yet, you get your ears close to the friend's mouth to listen carefully what she/he is saying..hahahhaa..Coz the next day, you can mock her/him for that..wahahahhaa..AWESOME!!! ;p its actually kinda creepy also..woooooo....~.~''

10 Things I Like in Life..:)

Yeap! Its time to reveal my top 10 things that I like most in life..hehehhee...

I'm so weird and I know it, owh yeah!!! mohhohohoho...^o^

Okay, lets proceed...jeng jeng jeng...

owh, before that, just wanna let u know, this is a totally random list.Its not numbered as what I like the most or what I like less..its just random..hehehhee..enjoy reading my stupid writing..ngehngeh..;p

1) How do I start off..?hrmm....okay, firstly I wanna admit that I love language learning..ehehee..especially the easy to learn ones like Japanese and Korean..ahahaha..I fell in love with Japanese language during my early education years..hhahahaa, my big bro started it by introducing those Japanese comics and eventually, slowly, those great animes which I grew up with..Amazing how the brain works, when you started listening to those foreign language more often, you will eventually understand some of it easily..muahahhaa...(i'm so lame, everybody knows that..puhahaha..^^)..

2) Okay, next would be ehem (clears throat...), singing, dancing, songs composing (with guitar most of the time), etc. etc.. So I guess it falls under the category of arts?hurmmm..performing arts?I dunno..someone expert, please correct me if I'm wrong..lol..btw, this is another 'built in' thing that i have (thank God for that!). I used to pist off my siblings by screaming and screaming my lungs out (by that I actually meant singing) all day long..well, sorry for those unintended vocal practices back then, hahahhaa..I love you guys (my dear siblings) for keeping up with me like that..;p My parents actually encouraged us with this kind of activities, and I am thankful for that.. I think it really helped my brain growth. If not, I would be a dope now..hahhahaa...(I admit, I'm kinda slow in certain areas of my brain..mbuahahahhaa..) but there is a proven research that kids who are actively involved with music have better brain power than those who don't..Its a fact, okay, I'm not just saying..hehhe..

3) Third on my list would be online games..oh yeah!! But I only like the fantasy like MMORPG..I do not like the ones that involve guns and bullets shooting, I prefer the slaying and magic like playing..hahahaha..I just love that kind of stuffs..I guess I read too much of fairy tales..hihihi ^o^..This is also influenced by my 'guru' in entertainment. He thought me how to 'waste my time perfectly' and in the funnest way possible..I think this is better rather than going out and 'lepak-ing' with friends in shopping malls, doin' nothing, watching and starring at other shoppers..for girls, most of them will surely turn into GOSSIP GIRLS..hahahhaa.. I strongly feel that playing online games at home is more beneficial coz it helps me to activate my brain cells by thinking for strategies to OWN the 'boss' or to level faster..It's better than just gossiping about other people rite?That is just repeating rumors that never even existed..LOL (oooo...I sound smart!! 0.0' puhahaha..)..

4) Number four, I am NOT number 4 ( I have ADD, so don't blame me for the sudden-outburst of changing topics!)..ehehee...yeah, number four is the fact that I am in love with Gothic stuffs..It's dark, it's freaky and it's awesome, i think,for me..Gothic in my dictionary includes vampires, the occults and some dark creatures with emo peeps..hahahaa..I am so weird and you know it!!lalallaa....XD I know its giving you readers the creep now..okay, lets move on...huhuhu..

5) Everyone would agree to this. Its HAENGBOK!! or a.k.a happiness in English..miahahaha..Happiness in the sense of laughter, joy and smiles.. I love it when people who doesn't know each other just exchange  a simple friendly smiles in the streets or where ever it is. I like it when people are laughing happily within each others' company. It gives out the sense of happiness and peaceful aura to the surroundings. Laughing and smiling is so contagious. It's a mystery how that happens. People tend to follow or copy what other people are doing. The best example is yawning and smiling..Sometimes even laughing..But I like how it works..Thank God anger is not contagious. Think about it..so the moral of the story is, try to smile to a stranger and you will notice that everyone will be smiling to each other on that particular day. You will feel happy and peaceful inside...

6) The weather!! Yay!! Some days I like it sunny, some days are awesome with rain..wohoooo^^

The perfect weather is sunny but not heat-ty while windy with cold breeze, but not too humid..Awesome weather that is!Hahahaa..I love it soooo much..I love cold weather, but my nose will punish me for that by start running all over the place, sounds gross ei?..aigoo~..=.,='' But I know its kinda hot at certain seasons in Malaysia, but we should appreciate the sun while we still can. So peeps, go and sun bathe yourself today..mihihihi^^ juz kiddin..don't do it, you might turn yourself into a roasted, barbequed chicken wings in seconds under the heat..lol ;p

7) This is kinda perverted..I'm warning you, you would not want to read this..hahahaa..anyway, I still wanna share it.I don't care what you say!!booohoooo!! Okay, here it goes: I like to look at pretty boyyysss (nose bleeds =.,=')......and girlsss....hahahhaaa...they are so pleasant looking! (does not mean I like to stare at myself in the mirror, ok, that's super freaky)..

8) SLEEPP is the best!!yeah..put your hands up, put your hands up (like in 2pm's 'hands up' song)...muahahaha...XD

I don't want to comment much on this one coz I know this is everybody's favorite thing in life..wahhahaha..^^

9) You are almost there....read on..huhuhu..yeah, number 9 is totally hangin' out with family and friends.. In my life, I have met with tons of awesome people who eventually became my friends (but none as my boyfriend,so sad T.T'') ..Each and every one of them have different and interesting personalities which contributes to the colors of my life..hehehe..dramatic me..uhuhuhu..btw, just to say this, if you are my friend, I admit that there is at the very least, ONE memory of you in my small sized head. So you don't have to worry about people not acknowledging you at all coz I REMEMBER YOU!!hahahahhaa...yeah rite..hopefully I do..and I hope u do remember me as a friend..hehehe..not as your enemy okay, coz I don't recall having enemies in my life.hahahaa...^^ Okies, about my family, when I was still a kid, they brought me a lot of depressing moments in my life (that was what I thought back then). Especially my siblings!!  I really hated those days, that I even wished that I was never even born in my family (how childish can that be?owh yeah I was still a kid that time) plus my parents were not around during my essential years of growing up..!! I do not blame them for that..never!hahaha..now this sounds depressing, so lets cut it short! However, nowadays, as everyone matures in body and mind, I feel like between me and my siblings, we are like best friends already...^^

I am sooo bored that I came up with this super stupid, freaky idea of listing the things I like and hate in my life..

Most of the stuff I'm gonna list revolve around me, and yeah, if you are being mentioned , I wanna firstly apologize..ngehehehehe..I'm only human peeps, and so are you!!

So, I'm gonna start off with the 10 things that I hate the most in life..Like most peeps would choose to listen to the bad news first, then the good ones (if they have it, lol =='), I decided to start with all the bad stuffs first..

Here we go:

10 things I hate about life:

1) Truth be told, I don't really like my real name (okay,its not that I hate it,its just I don't 'really' like it). JOCELYN? its so classic and uncommon in my society..why can't I get cool names like Zoe or probably Mellissa, or or, Tiffany or something common like Jessica or Fiona..huhuhu..okay, whatever..Now I prefer people calling me by my short name..Some ppl call me Joe, which brings trouble under certain circumstances.My girlfriends' boyfriends will be suspicious if they put my name as 'Joe' in their phone contacts..These 'boyfriends' thought that I am a guy..I was like WTF!!hahahaa..then I asked my frens to change it to Jojo, which sounds more feminine..Then I get called by a lot of other names like Joyce, lyn, Joy..then there are some ppl who spelled my name wrongly..OMG ppl, Its Jocelyn with a 'C' and a 'Y', not an 'S' with an 'I'..for Christ's sake, get it right already!!Okay, movin on...>.

2) What ever I've been through in my life so far..I mean my way or path that I have chosen..Have you guys ever read or came across this poem by Robert Frost entitled 'The Road Not Taken'? I'm sure most of you had..It's basically talking about how the guy chose to follow a road which is traveled less and was telling about where and how he ended up in life?Yeah, its exactly like that for me..I've chosen to travel the less traveled road...,which I do not find it amusing..muahahhahaa...XD What I meant was, I've always dreamnt of how my life would be like. After finishing high school, attending a huge, beautiful campus university and making tons of great new friends, share experiences, learn what I am mostly interested in, take extra subjects like foreign languages, and finally graduate like my other friends who just did..T.T I am very happy for them, but deep down, I am not happy for myself! My path is wayyyy different from all of you out there..totally different..whuuu..not that interesting, but okay, I admit it's kinda like a fast track.It felt like I am always playing safe..no more adventures or nerve wrecking moments with friends like I used to have in high school..oh well, lets not get any further, or you won't be able to finish reading..huhuhu..

3) Number 3 is totally me, being single, and surrounded by girls 85% of the time, 24 seven!pathetic ei? I mean, common, gimme a break, a Convent when I was in high school (all girls school yah), then into a college in which my classmates are 99% girls, and now, working and living in an O&G clinic which all the staffs are girls!!??The only testosterone I can smell or see are either freakin' old and ready to go to heaven, or its my patients' husbands..@.@ Common, what the hell is going on? Am I being tempted in to becoming the 'REAL L'???!!F*^$!! Now the answer to why I am still single is being fully answered..hahahahhaa...there..;p  

4) Owh, please, if you are bored reading this, do move on with your own business.I never force you awesome peeps to continue on..(except for the ones i tagged XDmuahahahaha..evil laughs~ ) huhu BTW, yeah, the fourth thing that I hate is when I planned something and it did not really go according to the plan, as planned..damn! No use of planning then..might as well they just erase the word plan?also the plan B and plan C..like hell yeah, I have a plan, its called plan Z you motherf*%#ers!!!sorry for that..Its called 'sudden-outburst'..yeah I have it at times, so..huhuhu...=='''

5) Number 5 would be my 'shy2 cat' personality!!! Omigosh, I really hate it..I'm the kinda person who is very2 shy (i'm warning you), like super shy when I am around someone who I just met or get to know (except if I get drunk first)..If you just met me, you would give me a very low point of first impression..I mean more like out of ten am I a fun person, 1 being the lowest and 10 being the funnest person you have ever met in the universe, and I would surely fall under 0 category, which is totally unaccepted!!hahhahaa..no, really..=='' but once we get to know each other better, you will unlock the crazy person inside of me and you will rate me as 100++?muahhahaha...just kiddin'..;p

6) Omigosh, I just passed number 5!!hahahahhaa....XD yeah, number six would be my so-called 'blonde'-ness or blond-ish attitude at times..trust me, if only you know how blonde I could be (I know some of my friends do, coz they nicknamed me with it!like urghhh, u guys r the funnest and u know who you people are!!), you would not want to go near this woman!urmmm, yeap..I really hate it.I do not do it on purpose, I guess its built in?hahaha..whatever, I cannot control it..It owned me!!sigh~ ;C

7) Number 7 is waking up in the morning with my alarm showing the exact time I should wake up..I would always think, "I shud have slept earlier so I can get enough 8 hrs of awesome, beauty sleep.." T.T like hell yeah, the nite before, I would be like, "awwww....malam masih baby bha!!!" or "Awal bha, lepak dulu"...kuang3..X/

8) Number 8 would be me, making a super funny joke and the other person did not at the very least giggle..like WTF!!are you freakin deaf,or u're just a 'zero' sense of humor?Common peeps, at least smile or giggle a bit when somebody is making a joke..its called appreciation, and the person telling the joke will feel mostly appreciated for their effort of making your day happier or merrier..gah! I should get some credits for being the clown or cartoon or whatever u peeps out there call it! huh?waddhaya think..??!!

9) I hate it when other ppl treat me like trash! Some more if I treated them nicely, then they treat me like totally the opposite! At least we can exchange a friendly smile or a simple hi..that would make this world a better place!People like this are not suited to be acknowledge by people like me or the likes of me..hehhehee...we are awesome, and u know it, rite!!??(I am referring to you people who are reading this, even though I know you are thinking that this is all bullshit! And its not bullshit or cow dung or some other animals' shit, this is sooo true, it did happened..huhuhu...)

10) Last but not the very least of things that I hate in life is WAR..or argument..or what ever that involves two people fighting each other..IDK what these people are thinking..there is nothing good about war! War is weird, it has no point or logical objective to carry out. Just because of two persons arguing about some stupid stuff, the whole world can rage into war..what the hell?Don't you like Peace like I do..I love Peace so much that I'd rather listen to some awesome music than fight over a small matter. Like we always said, sharing is caring. When you have something more, why not share it instead of making the other party jealous?and that is when argument starts which eventually initiates war..urgghhh....yeah, if you don't understand what I am talking about, I am actually referring to the wars that has been going on in another countries..You know what I mean rite?hhehehee....;p

Okay, that's the 10 things I hate in life..more to come, don't worry..huhuhu..btw, the 10 things I like will be in the next post..huhuhu...c ya, wouldn't wanna be yah...hehehehee..^^

Another Page

My my..this is like my 3rd blog created..my previous one was Another Beginning, now its Another Page. But I am not worried at all coz nobody cares to read my previous blog also..hahaha..So I'm hoping that some of you out there would be kind enough to stop by my new page and read some of my ridiculous thoughts. Well, life is always complicated people. You are not going to stay up there always, you have to come down once in a while. That's what keeps life interesting. 

Sometimes I wonder, why did I write all those interesting write-ups in my facebook page, instead of writing it in my blog..what a stupid joke..I did not even think of writing anything on my blog until recently when I was reminded by google+ about my blog page. Then only I was like Lordmigosh!! I did have a BLOG..big laughs..

So hopefully I'm gonna commit to this since I am so free currently..yeay!! And this is the latest me in December 2012!! woot woot..!!^^
